With over 45 years in the hair and beauty industry—and many years coaching women around the world in hairdressing color techniques, color analysis and  makeup, I’ve always believed that color should feel as good as it looks.

Over the years, I began to notice a pattern: many color analysis clients couldn’t remember their season or category or explain why certain colors worked for them. The traditional systems were too rigid, too complicated—and honestly, they just didn’t stick. 

That led me on a journey to discover something deeper. I kept asking: What if we could make color analysis intuitive? What if we could teach the “why” in a way people actually remember?

Then one day, it clicked.

I’ve always been captivated by the beauty of the rainbow—and when I recognized there was a missing link, a 7th tonal category, something in me lit up. It felt complete. Natural. True. The Color Harmony Method was born from that realization: that color, like the rainbow, works best when we see it as a whole.

Of course I haven't re-invented the wheel, Munsell's brilliant color theory is the foundation of this system. As it has been for the other analysis systems . I've just added my portion to the color analysis pie. Born out of frustration in finding somewhere to call home for myself and others that didn't neatly fit into a category box. I felt a need to break out of the boxes and find a way to demonstrate and describe color in a way that was more engaging and less rigid whilst still being accurate.

Now I help color coaches and consultants around the world, simplify their work, trust their eye, and most importantly bring real clarity and understanding to their clients—without all the overthinking.

When I'm at home I'm blessed to be overlooking The Gold Coast Region in Australia. Although, I'm a travel bug and spend a few months a year overseas in the USA , Europe and UK. I get to visit my grown up kids and dear friends from all over. I'm a passionate believer and follower of Jesus Christ and follow the wind of Holy Spirit, wherever!  It's a life of adventure and surprises, that is for sure!
