3. "Let There Be Light"

3. "Let There Be Light"

“In the Beginning… Light”

Genesis 1:3: “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”
The very first act of creation was a command that brought light into the void. Before stars, oceans, or creatures, light existed. It was the spark that would one day reveal every color, every hue, and, ultimately, every facet of creation itself.

Jesus said "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12) signifies the role of Jesus as the source of spiritual illumination, revealing his divine nature and guiding humanity out of darkness into God's presence.

 White Light:

To our eyes, daylight appears “white”—a pure, undifferentiated glow. Yet, white light is not uniform. It’s a symphony of all seven colors dancing together in perfect harmony. Without light, there is no color; without light’s seven‑fold nature, there is no spectrum.

The Science of the Prism

When white light passes through a prism—or through a rain‑soaked atmosphere—it bends, slows, and separates into its component wavelengths.

  • Red (longest wavelength)
  • Orange
  • Yellow
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Indigo
  • Violet (shortest wavelength)

This natural “splitting” reveals the 7 color spectrums of white light.

Light & the Color Harmony Method

In The Color Harmony Method, we honor this principle of one light, seven spectrums. Just as a prism unfolds white light into seven rays, our method reveals how our hair, skin, and eyes align with one of seven “spectrums” of personal color harmony. Each spectrum is a unique expression of light—reflecting how we were beautifully made to shine.
